Free pick-a-date calendar fundraiser template

Download our free pick-a-date calendar fundraiser template for Word. Each day of the month carries a dollar amount from 1 to 31, and supporters pick a date and give that amount. When every date is taken, one calendar raises $496 in a 31-day month.

How a pick-a-date fundraiser works

1. Print a calendar for each seller. Every player, scout or volunteer gets one sheet.
2. Supporters pick an open date. They write their name on the date and give the amount shown: the 5th gives $5, the 31st gives $31.
3. Sellers collect as they go, or at the end of the month, and return the sheet and the money by the deadline.
4. Draw winners if you like. Many groups draw a name each day or each week for a small prize, which helps fill the bigger dates.

How much money does a pick-a-date calendar raise?

A full calendar raises the total of every number on it.

Few calendars fill every date, so plan on part of that. The costs are a sheet of paper per seller and any prizes, so almost everything collected goes to the cause.

Filling in the template

1. Add your group's name, month and goal at the top.
2. Line up the first day. Move the amounts so the $1 square falls on the 1st of your month, and blank out days that don't exist.
3. Fill in the bottom line: who checks are payable to, the return date and a contact.
4. Print one per seller on letter paper. It opens in Word, Google Docs and Pages.

Variations

• Double days: every amount doubled, for a $992 calendar in a 31-day month.
• Holiday months: run it in December with a gift card draw on each Sunday.
• Calendar plus a raffle: each filled date is also an entry into a single end-of-month prize.
