Order 100 calendarsHow to read the result
- Print cost is our price for the calendars, with full bleed and envelopes if you tick them.
- Money in is what you collect from sales at the percent you expect to sell, plus sponsors.
- You raise is money in minus print cost, before postage and anything else you spend.
- Break even is how many you must sell to cover the print bill. Everything after that is profit.
Ways to raise more
- Pre-sell, then print. Collect orders first and print what you sold plus a few spares, so unsold calendars don't eat the profit.
- Sell sponsor months. Twelve month footers and the back cover are ad space; selling them can pay the whole print bill.
- Order one size up in quantity. The price per calendar falls as quantity rises, so 100 often costs little more than 75.
- Choose the mini for a lower price point: it costs less to print and mails in a 6 x 9 envelope.
