Zine printing, from 10 copies
Our zine printing makes stapled, full-color zines from 10 copies, in the classic half-letter 5.5 x 8.5 size or a larger 8.5 x 11. Each zine has 8, 12 or 16 pages including the cover, and you approve a proof of your exact file first.

The price is the same for 8, 12 or 16 pages, so fill all 16. Any quantity from 10 to 250 is priced in proportion between tiers. Full price tables are on the small booklet and letter booklet pages.
Photo zines, art zines and comics
- Photo zines: full-bleed photos print edge to edge. The uncoated paper gives a matte look that suits film and documentary work.
- Art and illustration zines: scan artwork at 300 to 600 dpi at its printed size.
- Short comics: the half-letter size suits a 12 or 16 page story. Keep lettering 0.25 in inside the trim.
- Poetry and writing zines: black text on full-color pages costs the same as color art.
Page count
A stapled zine is made of sheets folded in half, 4 pages per sheet. So your file needs 8, 12 or 16 pages, counting the front and back covers. A 10-page zine becomes 12: add an inside-cover credit page and a back-page colophon.
You do not need to impose pages into printer's spreads. Send single pages in reading order and we arrange them for folding.
File setup
- Page size with bleed: 5.75 x 8.75 in (half letter) or 8.75 x 11.25 in (letter).
- Keep text and important art 0.25 in inside the trim.
- Photos at 300 ppi at their printed size.
- Embed fonts and export a PDF.
