Our custom coloring book printing turns your line art into stapled or coil-bound coloring books from 10 copies. Choose a stapled book of 8 to 16 pages or a coil book of up to 48 pages, and approve a proof before anything prints.

Paper and what colors well
All three print on 70 lb uncoated text, a smooth paper with no shine.
- Crayons and colored pencils: work well and do not show through.
- Markers and gel pens: can bleed through to the next page. For marker books, print each drawing on a right-hand page and leave its back blank or put a light pattern there.
- Watercolor and paint: not suited to text-weight paper.
The coil book lies flat and folds back on itself, so a child can color the whole page without fighting the spine.

File setup
- Line art at 600 dpi at its printed size, in black on white. Gray tones print as light gray.
- Page size with bleed: 5.75 x 8.75 in (small) or 8.75 x 11.25 in (letter), if any line runs to the edge.
- Keep important lines 0.25 in inside the trim, and 0.5 in clear on the coil side for coil books.
- Send one PDF of single pages in reading order, with the front cover first.
Count pages in multiples of 4 for stapled books: 8, 12 or 16 including the covers. Coil books take any count up to 48 interior pages. - You get a digital proof the same business day we receive a complete file.
- Production takes 1 to 3 business days after approval and payment, then we ship by USPS Ground Advantage.
