Our color coil bound workbook printing starts at 10 copies. Each book is 8.5 x 11 in, with up to 48 full-color interior pages and a plastic coil that lies flat for writing. You upload a PDF, approve a proof of your exact file, and we print, bind and ship the books.

Every copy is the same letter-size build, with color on every interior page.

Prices

Each price is the total for that quantity, boxes included. Postage is extra, at cost.

Order any whole quantity from 10 to 100; prices between tiers are in proportion. One price covers any page count up to 48 interior pages. The price calculator shows the delivered total for any quantity and ZIP code. For more than 100 copies, request a quote.

What to upload

Upload one PDF: the front cover first, then the interior pages in reading order.

1. Page 1 is the front cover. We print it in full color on 80 lb cover stock.
2. Pages 2 onward are the interior: up to 48 pages, one per PDF page.
3. Leave the back cover out. It is blank 80 lb cover stock.

Your file has 49 pages at most: the cover plus 48 interior pages. Send single pages, not spreads.

File setup

Set pages to 8.75 x 11.25 in when anything touches the edge, and keep 0.5 in clear on the coil side.

The binding edge is the left side of right-hand pages and the right side of left-hand pages. Keep text, page numbers and faces out of that 0.5 in band.

Templates

• Coil workbook template, 8.5 x 11 in (Word) (DOCX) has letter pages with mirrored margins, 0.875 in on the coil side. Page 1 is the cover. Replace the sample pages, number them and save as PDF.
• Print guide: letter coil workbook (PDF) has guide pages that mark bleed, the safe area and the coil band. Put one on a locked bottom layer and hide it before you export.

When to choose black and white instead

Choose black and white when your pages are mostly text. Size, covers, paper and coil stay the same; only the interior ink changes.

In the black-and-white book, color images print in grayscale. A book that mixes color and black-and-white pages is a custom quote.

How ordering works

Nothing prints until you approve the proof.

1. Choose a quantity, enter your ZIP code and upload your PDF.
2. We check size, page count, bleed, fonts and image resolution.
3. You get a digital proof the same business day we receive a complete file. Approve it or ask for one round of changes.
4. Production takes 1 to 3 business days after approval and payment. Then we ship by USPS Ground Advantage.

A digital proof confirms content and layout, not exact color. Working to a session date? Count back from it: proof, production, then ground transit. We ship to one address per order, such as your venue.
