How much does it cost to print a booklet?
A short run of stapled, full-color booklets costs $149 ($2.98 each) for 50 copies at 5.5 x 8.5 in, or $219 ($4.38 each) at 8.5 x 11 in, with up to 16 pages. The price per copy falls as the quantity rises, and postage is added at cost.

These are our full prices for saddle-stitched booklets: full color on every page, 70 lb paper, two staples on the fold. One price covers 8, 12 or 16 pages, including the cover.

What changes the cost of a booklet

| Quantity | The biggest factor. Setup and handling are spread across more copies, so 100 copies cost far less each than 10. |
| Size | A letter booklet uses paper twice the size of a half-letter booklet, so it costs more per copy. |
| Page count | Our price is the same for 8, 12 or 16 pages. Above 16 pages, a coil workbook holds up to 48 pages. |
| Color | Every page is full color at no extra charge. For long black-and-white documents, the black-and-white coil workbook costs less per page. |
| Binding | Staples are the least expensive binding. Coil costs more but lies flat. |
| Shipping | Postage is charged at cost by weight and distance. Boxes are included in the price. |
How to pay less per booklet
- Fill all 16 pages. The price doesn't change from 8 to 16, so use the space.
- Order once, not twice. 100 copies in one order cost less than two orders of 50.
- Choose 5.5 x 8.5 if it reads well. Programs, zines and small guides work at half-letter.
- Send a finished PDF. A print-ready file avoids delays and changes after the proof. The artwork guide covers bleed and fonts.

Printing a booklet at home instead
For a handful of copies, a home printer with a booklet setting works: print double-sided on letter paper, fold and staple with a long-reach stapler. Past about 20 copies, ink, paper, time and uneven folds usually make a printed order the better deal, and you get full-bleed color that most home printers can't do.
